URGENT CARE
Sick? Hurt? We’re open every day.
Injuries and illnesses can happen anytime, requiring a doctor’s care right away. We’re open every day of the year, providing prompt, professional medical attention for conditions such as:
- Respiratory infection
- Headaches and migraines
- Sore throats
- Sprains or fractures
- Cold or flu symptoms
- Ear and eye infections
- Pulled or strained muscles
- Childhood illnesses
- Cuts, bruises and burns
- Bladder infections
- Auto accident injuries
When your family is suddenly faced with an unexpected injury or need for immediate medical attention, you can walk-in at any Gainesville or Ocala Solantic clinic for emergency care. Our board-certified physician and trained clinical staff can attend to your medical needs without the hassle of dealing with an over-crowded hospital emergency room. Should your emergency require additional attention, Solantic can arrange for transportation from our triage to the appropriate trauma center. If you or a family member needs urgent care, always think of Solantic first. Our "no appointment needed" policy provides your family with easy access to affordable urgent care and many other immediate healthcare services.
In keeping with Solantic's promise of always providing an open medical environment, we post our prices for medical services and specific procedures behind every center's registration desk. We don't believe in surprises when you get the bill for urgent care or immediate health care services. Solantic also takes the hassle out of the "wait, and wait some more" emergency room experience. Once you have signed in, your scheduled office visit is displayed electronically to keep you informed as to the order of service. Additionally, when you have a non-emergency medical issue, we will let you shop nearby or run local errands while you're waiting to see the doctor in Gainesville or Ocala. All you have to do is leave us a cell phone number and we will call you when it is your turn.
We believe after any visit to a Solantic Walk-In Urgent Care Center the charges for medical services rendered should be easy for you to understand. Solantic uses a "Basic-Moderate-Complex" billing system for all triage services. Once our board-certified physician has examined you or a family member, he or she will offer a diagnosis for your sudden illness or unexpected injury. The doctor will also explain any additional procedures or testing needed in conjunction with your treatments and recovery. Any visit that does not require lab work, digital x-rays or intravenous injections will be billed as a "Basic" clinical visit. When one basic procedure is ordered, your office visit is billed as a "Moderate" charge. Urgent care visits that require more than one medical procedure or visits where x-rays, fluids, injections, lacerations, sutures or eyewash are billed as "Complex."
